Grammy Nomination
Rell writes Usher a winning song. Well, a Grammy nominated song for now. That still calls for some celebration in our book. If getting the title song on Usher’s latest album was great news, that same song “Here I Stand” has gained Usher the Grammy Nomination for “Best Male R&B Performance” is even better news.
Congratulations to Usher and Rell, and to CoDee for “Be Careful (What You Wish For)”, the song from which”Here I. Stand” was its main inspiration. CoDee believes that, “All great music and musicians inspire and everyone borrows things from the people they’re fond of. I have done it and still do; it’s natural. We’ve got mountains to climb and believe me, Grammy’s can make it all a little bit easier.” CoDee and Rell are working on Rell’s new album project right now.
